Low Intensity Infrared

Modine's single-burner positive pressure infrared heater is approved for vented or unvented commercial and industrial applications. A water-resistant control compartment provides weatherproof protection and allows either indoor or outdoor installation. Modine's low intensity TLP series heaters include the following features:

• Heat-treated 16 gauge aluminized steel heat exchanger provides enhanced corrosion resistance and radiant heat transfer, for longer heat exchanger life and more heat output near the end of the heat exchanger
• Durable 16 gauge aluminized steel combustion chamber
• Blocked intake/exhaust shut-off switch to provide gas valve closure in the event of a blocked vent condition
• Reliable four-trial (three re-trial) hot surface ignition with separate flame sensor
• Controls located in enclosed, water-resistant compartment for indoor or outdoor installation
• Polished aluminum reflector directs infrared rays efficiently to desired area
• Sight window allows flame viewing from underside of combustion chamber
• Indicator light shows proper operation of combustion blower
• Available distributor packaging burner and tube kits which reduce inventory
• 180° rotatable gas valve, accessible from either side of burner box
• Durable polyester powder paint maintains life-long appearance
• 115v service voltage, 24v control voltage
• Permanently-lubricated combustion air blower mounted inside burner box for quiet operation
• Side access panels that can either slide down or be removed completely for servicing either side of the burner box
• Removable cover allows easy access to flame sensor and ignitor, mounted externally to combustion chamber
• Enclosed burner compartment allows burner box to be open while manifold pressure is adjusted
• Thermal efficiencies of up to 80% maximize fuel savings
