Formed in 1995, the Modine Manufacturing Company Foundation has a history of giving back to local communities through the financial support of our foundation and volunteer commitment of our employees. The mission of the Foundation is to aid in the development of strong, vibrant communities.
From our home base in Racine, WI, and all across America, the communities in which we operate need to be strong and provide a high quality of life for our business to succeed. Through direct grants, the Foundation creatively and thoughtfully acts as a champion for these communities.
The Modine Foundation focuses on the following areas:
The Foundation supports programs and proposals at selected institutions of higher education where Modine recruits its workforce and/or institutions with specific academic areas of science and technology of interest to Modine.
The Foundation also supports programs and proposals designed to help elementary, middle school and high school students develop and maintain curiosity and excitement about the worlds of math, science, technology and business. The Foundation will also give consideration to proposals that help students and teachers understand the relevance of math, science, technology and business to society and the workplace.
Arts and Culture
The Foundation supports grants and proposals to the arts and cultural organizations/activities in order to enhance the communities in which Modine employees live and work. Examples of support include museums, orchestras, theatres, ballets and sponsorships of concerts.
Civic and Community

Examples of support include projects and programs that strive to preserve or enhance the historic or economic vitality of a community.
