Stainless Steel Oil Coolers
Liquid-to-liquid layered-core oil coolers (LCOCs) efficiently and economically reduce high oil, transmission oil, and fuel temperatures in today’s vehicles. Stand-alone coolers and thermal management solutions are available. Typical applications include commercial and specialty vehicle, agriculture, construction, and industrial equipment.
Highly efficient and compact LCOCs are formed into custom plate profiles to match customer specifications and integration needs. The LCOC’s design permits installation adjacent to the oil filter on most engines or transmissions, while the plate-type (P) coolers are typically installed in the engine block, the radiator tank, or a remote boxed unit.
Our experience with many sealing methods and customer fluid interfaces, such as O-Rings, PIP-Seals, gaskets, complex hose connections, and customer-specific interfaces (such as machined fittings, quick disconnects, etc.) allows us to more effectively deliver customer-specific solutions. Multiple mounting methods are also available, including mounting studs in plate, various sized mounting holes/features, and mounting brackets.
