Barkell recently carried out a fan section refurbishment on an old Barkell AHU which was manufactured in 1997.
The old fan section included Run & Standby DIDW fans c/w belt driven motors,which we replaced with new more efficient direct drive plug fans.
Access into plant room was tight so the fans were delivered to site in sections including the fan bulkhead, Barkell engineers attended site on a Friday afternoon and completed
all works by the Sunday which met the requirements of our client, as the AHUs had to
be up and running again on Monday morning.site assembly of all sections.
